It features a patented safety shield that allows for one-handed activation to cover the needle immediately upon withdrawal from the artery and confirms proper activation with an audible click.
The attached needle safety guard in the arterial blood syringes reduces the risk of blood spillage during transportation and designed with air channels to prevent air from entering into the blood sample when the syringe is sealed.

USAGE
• Start by placing the patient’s arm in a downward position and clean venipuncture site with alcohol, therefore apply a tourniquet;
• Remove the upper cover of the needle and assemble the needle in the holder;
• Continue by performing venipuncture with arm downward and tube stopper upper-most;
• Push tube onto the needle, puncturing stopper diaphragm;
• Release the tourniquet as soon as blood appears in the tube and remove the tube from the holder when the first tube has filled to its stated volume and blood flow ceases;
• Turn the filled tube upside-down and return it to upright positions and repeat this inversion according to different additive performance;
• Place succeeding tubes in the holder, puncturing diaphragm to begin. As soon as blood stops flowing in the last tube, remove the tube from the holder and remove the needle from the vein, applying pressure to puncture site with the dry sterile swab until bleeding stops.
